Viagra - Little Blue Pill
Viagra (blue pill) is touted as the magic little blue pill for men with performance issues, but are there any downsides? Pfizer, which produces Viagra (blue pill), has long published a list of potential issues and cautionary notes. Now, a new study is alleging that there may be an additional issue.
Viagra (blue pill) is, of course, the little blue pill that has reintroduced millions of men to the world of intimacy. The drug was originally designed to treat high blood pressure and angina issues. It failed at that miserably, but it did have a very fortunate side effect. That being said, the drug is also noted to have some side effects that are not so hot. Specifically, the little blue pill tends to drop blood pressure and that can be dangerous is some cases. Beyond that however, the use of Viagra (blue pill) is safe enough that the FDA obviously approved it.
So, what impact does it have on fertility?
Well, there results are murky at best. The first claim came from a study in 2000. It claimed the drug actually increased fertility rates, but for women instead of men. Women who suffered from a health problem involving thin uterus walls would take the drug and pregnancies were the result. The theory was the drug caused increased blood flow to the uterus, which increased the thickness in the walls. Generally, however, Viagra (blue pill) was shown to be toxic to women and fetus in the womb.
Viagra (blue pill) revolutionized the field of erectile dysfunction by providing a magic little blue pill that could resolve the problem for a few hours and allow men to enjoy intimacy once again. Talk about some scientists that should have received the noble prize! Regardless, Viagra (blue pill) is still a pharmaceutical and comes with some risks. One is the negative health impact it can have when a person is taking nitrates. The same is true with Viagra to some extent, but with one big exception. Pfizer, the maker of the magic blue pill, goes out of its way to mention that men taking nitrates should not take Viagra (blue pill). The warnings are in ever television commercial and print advertisement. Okay, we get. The question, however, is why is this a problem. The answer might surprise you. Viagra works by basically freeing up the blood flow. It does this by causing the blood vessels to expand, which allows sufficient blood to get to the important parts of the body. Nitrates, on the other hand, are used to treat heart issues including angina which is pain. Nitrates work by dilating the blood vessels to increase blood flow.
Viagra Dosage:
Viagra (blue pill) is available in the form of tablet and is meant to be taken orally. Ideally it is to be taken almost an hour before the sexual activity. However, Viagra (blue pill) can be taken anytime from 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity. It takes 30 - 45 minutes for showing Viagra's effect and this effect lasts for almost four hours. If you take Viagra after a high-fat meal (such as fish & chips, cheeseburger or French fries), it may take a little longer to start working. Viagra should not be taken more than once a day unless prescribed by your doctor.
